Road trip to Sir Stampalot!

At the weekend I went on a crafty road trip to Peterborough to Sir Stampalot with my crafty buddy Lexie (see Lexie's blog here).
We both had a fab day and treated ourselves to some lovely goodies.

It's been a while since I made a card 'just because' and below is the result.





It was so nice to just to play with and experiment with my new goodies :-)


The materials I used were: Dovecraft Feathered Friends stamp, Imaginisce sentiment stamp and paper from MME Wild Asparagus.

First card of 2010

Long time no post (again!)

Well, this is my first card for 2010 and for a very good friend. I tried something I've not really done before with the flowers and pins (the pins I made myself). Been seeing a lot of this in blog land and think it's just so sweet.

The image is coloured with Polychromos which I'm still getting the hang of but I love them :-)

Missed challenge and new way of colouring

Hello!

Just a quick experiment from my new iPhone (it's so cool!)

This was a card I made for the sketch Saturday challenge but missed the deadline, oops! Thought I'd post it anyway.



I've been playing with a new way of colouring on this card. I used sansador (i think in the US they call it Gamsol). I used paper stumps and Derwent colouring pencils to get this look. I'll post more details later as I can't type very well on my phone yet!
